Beauty of Natural Diversity
This painting was inspired by my friend Michela and the nodding wild onion flower . These flowers are just the size of your little finger's nail. The green leaves are just a bit bigger than a blade of one inch grass. The flowers cover large areas of lawn on the Villas on the north shore of Chicagoland's Lake Michigan. Each spring these flowers cover large areas of garden to create a blue glow of carpet. The diverse nature of these tiny flowers are a symbol of the beauty of any natural species including mankind. |
